Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via this website, and by installing the PlaneCommand plugin on your computer. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

The PlaneCommand website may collect the following types of information from you:

  • Purchase-related information: When you make a purchase, we will collect payment related data, including your email address, name, and payment information. This information is necessary to complete your purchase.
  • Browsing data: When you browse this website, we collect some information about your browsing session like the name, IP address, and version of your web browser. We are currently working to reduce the information collected, and to anonymize stored IP addresses.
  • X-Plane installation data: While running the X-Plane plugin, we collect some information about your X-Plane installation, such as the X-Plane version, PlaneCommand version, operating system version, and the name of the aircraft you are currently flying. This information is used to improve the PlaneCommand plugin.
  • License management / anti-piracy: When you run the PlaneCommand plugin, we may gather some information about your installation and license key, including the license key itself and computer MAC address. This is only used for anti-piracy and customer support purposes, and is never shared with any third party.

Purchase-related data may be sent to our payment partners (currently Stripe and Paypal) for the purpose of completing your purchase. This information is not shared with anyone else.

If you contact us, we may use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to complete an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Orders

We may request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and email address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). We rely on partners PayPal and Stripe to process and store payment information; no payment or financial information is stored on our servers.
